The overnight trip on the luxurious Chapa Train Express between Ha Noi and Lao Cai offers fully furnished cabins with reading lights, air conditioning, cozy beds, and décor inspired by Sapa. Select from VIP cabins, Suite 2-berth cabins, or shared Deluxe 4-berth cabins.

WC is very distinct and separate at the end of the coach on the Chapa Train. There will be a free first aid kit and hot water heater available on board. The Chapa train staff is multilingual and well-versed in language; they will assist you until the train departs. In the cabin, there is free water, snacks, a cold towel, and toothpaste for every passenger.

Chapa Train uses Chapa Lounch, which is next to the Lao Cai station, as a waiting area where passengers can unwind either before boarding the train in Lao Cai or after departing from Hanoi. The restaurant staff will assist you with ticket exchanges and provide timely guidance on the Chapa train.

From Hanoi Station to Lao Cai Station (22:00 – 06:05)

•     21:00: Arrived at Hanoi Train Station for check-in procedure. At this point, your online ticket would be exchanged for paper tickets
•     22:00: Departed to Lao Cai Train Station
•     06:05: Arrived at Lao Cai Train Station
•     08:15: Arrived at Sapa for people who booked the Transfer to Sapa from Lao Cai Train Station

From Lao Cai Station to Hanoi Station (21:30 – 05:35)

•     18:00: Start at Sapa Town for people who book the Transfer to Lao Cai Train Station from Sapa
•     20:40: Arrived at Lao Cai Train Station for check-in procedure. At this point, your online ticket would be exchanged for paper tickets
•     21:30: Departed to Hanoi Train Station
•     05:30: Arrived at Hanoi Train Station
